COSY LIVING ROOM IN NUDE PINK

My first thought on this stylish home was ‘what a brave living room color’; it’s kind of a mix between pink and beige, but with a very sophisticated touch. The art works as well as the light fixture add a certain graphic feel, which stand out very well against the nude walls. Even though I probably wouldn’t go for such a bold living room color, it definitely gives this home a fabulous, unique look.

IT’S SPRING INSIDE

It’s starting to feel a lot like spring in this Stockholm apartment! Floaty linens, soft panels, and the use of wooden furniture pieces make for a charming, yet calm atmosphere. The few black items in the living room add some depth to the space, and create the perfect home to welcome the slowly rising temperatures outside.

GOING GREEN

Plants and neutral flowers have been my favorite pieces of interior decoration for a while now, and in particular, I love how nature has been introduced as it captures all the attention. Aside from the big banana tree in the dining room, which is stunning by the way, I am amazed by the decorative, hanging plants in both the living room and the bedroom as it gives the space a very unique, comfortable atmosphere.

As far as furniture pieces go, the round dining table from Asplund really stands out to me. I also love how the kitchen is kept in neutral black and white leaving the focus on the yellow wallpaper. I’m usually more drawn to white or painted walls, but this botanical wallpaper is the perfect balance of subtile and interesting.

This beautiful home is definitely one of my favorites since starting this blog, as you probably guessed by the amount of pictures in the post!

SIMPLE CONTRAST

In today‘s time, the tone on tone beige and grey looks seem to have taken over, so this simple, all white interior with black accents is truly quite refreshing. The layout of this small studio is very interesting as well; the open floor plan makes for an airy atmosphere while the sleeping area is almost hidden in the back corner. Personal note: those who know me know I am definitely a fan of the book shelf display, as it gives an immediate character to the space.
